Patrick HarringtonĀ is instructed in a diverse range of cases. Although he is best known for major criminal cases in both Crime (General) and Crime (Fraud) he is instructed in other categories of case as well.
For example, in sports law he acted for the agent of a player who went on to captain the England Football team. In this case he led a high flying team which successfully defended the agent's reputation as the result of his instinct as to where to look for what.
He has acted for a number of International Rugby players not just for disciplinary offences.
In Health and Safety cases he has acted for individuals, companies, employers and employees in a wide range of mostly fatal cases.
Mr. Harrington has been instructed in many cases of causing death by dangerous driving. He is also instructed in less serious motoring cases where, for example, the retention of a client's driving licence is important to the client. Indeed, he has always had a specialist interest in such cases.
He maintains a specialist interest in civil work, sittting as a Recorder and acting in cases as diverse as planning and defamation.
